TRAINING

We conduct training and research activities in all areas of the real estate sector by organising and promoting courses, conferences, round tables and seminars, in collaboration with public and private entities.

Highlights in this area include:

Senior Programme for Real Estate Company Management, Instituto de Empresa (Business Institute).
The main objective of this Programme is to provide students with an overview of the real estate sector and offer them the management tools necessary to do their jobs.

Real Estate Forum, in collaboration with the Instituto de Empresa.
Each year, the Aguirre Newman Foundation, together with the Instituto de Empresa, organises a Real Estate Forum in which relevant figures from the Spanish real estate arena participate. It also contributes specialised market reports for the sector.

Real Estate Challenge.
Designed to train young talent, this programme is aimed at students in their final years of university study who are interested in a career in the real estate sector.

SOCIAL ACTION

The goal of the Aguirre Newman Foundation's social action projects is to improve quality of life for the disadvantaged. Since 2000, through the companies in the Aguirre Newman group, the Aguirre Newman Foundation has provided pro bono real estate consultancy services to social entities.

The main services requested by the entities are:

• technical guidance in optimising their headquarters and local offices,
• appraisal of their property assets,
• advice in property search and selection processes.

Furthermore, in collaboration with Aguirre Newman's clients, it channels the donation of recycled office furniture.

In collaboration with Aguirre Newman Arquitectura, we have developed an office accessibility service for people with disabilities.

The Foundation also supports development co-operation projects that require technical advice, such as our collaboration with the MADES Latin America Association in the following projects:

• Construction of the "Corderitos de Jesús" Community Centre, designed to educate children in the town of Saltur (Chiclayo, Peru).
• Construction of the Adrián W. Paz Child Foster Care Centre (Vilacaya, Bolivia).

ENVIROMENT

In collaboration with the Garrigues law firm and Aguirre Newman Arquitectura, we have developed “es sostenible”, a service which includes environmental parameters in office design so that they are more sustainable.
